What we need from you

You know your website best

We’ll do our best to ensure your website is error free – but if something seems incorrect, in error or faulty, please let us know ASAP. You know your website better than our team, and we rely on you to let us know when things might be wrong.

Additionally, if you think there’s something important we need to know about your website, please let our team know. Whether that’s a historical security incident, SEO keywords you might want to rank for, concerns or thoughts on current technical settings – we want to know.

Communicating with our team

We’re always available on the phone, but for accuracy we will communicate over email wherever possible. Email affords a permanent record for both of us, and crucially, minimises mistakes. We will always seek your permission before making material changes to your website. With that in mind, we ask that you are available to review and respond to our emails in the swiftest manner possible. If we don’t hear back from you, work will remain paused.

SEO / rank changes

SEO is an incredibly complex and rapidly changing field. Google may tweak their algorithm and machine learning processes multiple times per week, making for 100s of adjustments per year. We do our bets to stay upto date with the latest SEO news, updates and industry thoughts. While we will make appropriate suggestions based on our knowledge, it is imperative to understand that your website’s SEO rankings are ultimately outside of our control. There is no magic billet that can rank a website for term X in position Y.

Many factors can influence how your website appears in Google’s search results, and you may see your website rank decrease, as well as increase, and this may be completely independent of our work. It’s also likely that different users and/or devices may receive different search results based on numbers other factors.
